Donna's long career includes being Research Vice President at Gartner, PMO Director at Oracle, Senior Consultant at the Cutter Consortium, and senior positions at Intel, ROLM, and Sun MicroSystems.

First Panel

Panelists will first give highlights from their PM career journeys and then share their own personal tips for women who want to succeed in the profession. After, moderator Linda Vella will coordinate a Q&A session with audience participants.

Linda Vella | Transformation PM

Specializing in leading change/transformation projects, Linda's career includes positions as Program Director at TD Bank, PMO VP at Aon, VP EPMO at Northbridge Financial, IT Strategy Change Program Lead for Aviva, Director of Financial Transformation for CMHC, among others. She is currently Program Director for Ontario's WSIB and a PMI Fellow.

Jane Gallant | Municipal PMO Lead

Starting as a team leader at NexInnovations and SHL Systemshouse, Jane moved into the public sector with the City of Brampton, Town of Markham, and now at the City of Mississsauga where she heads the city's PMO.

Amber Howard | PM & BA Consultant

Amber gives back to the community through various volunteer activities. Her career includes PM and business analyst positions at Rexall, Greater Toronto Airports Authority, Royal Bank, Lakeridge Health, and Procept.

Rekha Kulshreshtha | IT Project Manager

Rekha had a 27 year career in IT project management at IBM, rising to the rank of Associate Partner. She also is a software development process improvement guru and past president of Toronto's Software Process Improvement Network.

Alison Munro | Municipal PMO Lead

Starting as a software project manager at the start of the GIS industry, Alison held positions as a DMR consultant and scientific officer for the European Commission before joining the City of Vaughn as a project manager. She now works for the Vaughan CIO overseeing the City's IT project portfolio.

Sandra Boyle | PMO Director

After 12 years of complex program and portfolio management at Air Canada, Sandra took positions as PMO lead for Ornge, PM consultant at PureFacts Financial and the Ontario Government, and as a PMO Director for Purolator and the City of Hamilton

Elizabeth Keurvorst | Change Manager

A communications specialist, Elizabeth's past projects have included an organizational re-design for one of Canada’s largest financial institutions, a Canadian city’s total re-branding, government initiatives to address health and gender challenges in rural Africa, post-tsunami community projects in Sri Lanka.

Janice Petley | Event Manager

Janice has a long career planning and managing large events such as World Youth Day (the Pope's visit to Toronto) and the Billy Graham Crusade; product launch tours for BMW, Chrysler, and CIBC; Rolling Stones concerts, symphony and operatic performances; sports events such as the Canada Games and international soccer and cricket matches; and the Opening Ceremony for the Confederation Bridge in PEI.

Darya Duma, P.Eng | Engineering/Construction

Darya's career started managing elevator construction for industrial facilities including the Hibernia project, Ontario Hydro, TransAlta, and the Subdury Neutrino Observatory. She also worked for the Canadian Standards Association developing PM standards and actively participates in the development of international PM standards with the ISO. She teaches project management for Queens University's Master of Engineering program and has been teaching with Procept for over 22 years.

Anne Milochik | PM in Healthcare & Pharma

Anne has worked primarily as a PM in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries for Bayer, Apotex, Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, Canadian Association of Chain Drugstores, CIBA Vision Sterile Manufacturing, Novartis and Taro Canada. She specializes in PMOs and in running complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
